Helping build Omineca

Thanks to funding from the Vancouver Foundation and the BC Arts Council, Omineca is pleased to welcome two new staff members, allowing us to expand our open hours and create more connections with the community!

Meet Our Staff

Amy is a community programmer, artist and musician with nine years of experience working and volunteering with arts organizations. She recently relocated from Vancouver Island to Northern BC, and is grateful to be able to live and work on the beautiful territories of the Tse’khene people and the Lheidli T’enneh.

Amy believes strongly in the role of art in supporting education, mental health and community. She enjoys working with artists of all levels and modes of practice and finding new opportunities for collaboration and connection.

Amy holds a BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Victoria and a Masters in Museum Education from the University of British Columbia.
