Bio

Fernanda Salla, originally hailing from Brazil, has been residing in Prince George for the past six years. She began her artistic journey during her teenage years by studying drawing and painting at Escola Panamericana de Arte in Brazil. Since then, she has expanded her skills in various visual art techniques, including oil painting, watercolor, colored pencil drawing, and mural creation through workshops and independent experimentation.

Fernanda also holds undergraduate degrees in Public Relations and Journalism, which she has always sought to integrate with her artistic interests. Her professional experience includes content production and editing in the field of art and art education, particularly for Nova Escola magazine in Brazil. She has contributed commissioned works such as illustrations for publications and scientific studies, as well as acrylic paintings, watercolor illustrations, and jewelry. In Prince George, Fernanda has painted two murals, one at the Hart Family Veterinary Clinic and another at the UNBC Childcare Center. She has also participated in the ICS Craft Fair in 2018, showcasing her watercolor artworks and jewelry.
